The EP was originally supposed to be 5 tracks deep. After bumping it a couple of times, I realized it was missing some Hard Rugged vibes. I asked Proof to produce a couple of more joints and he turned around GRINCHES, MERRY MARIJUANA, NOCHE BUENA & SHOPPING SPREE. I sent this beat to Motive, Mogley, and North with specific instructions on what to write about. They all griped about the rules I was setting on their verses at first, but in the end, they all did a fantastic job and the song sounds complete and cohesive because of it. Salute to Motive on the ill Hook, and North on the crazy story to end it. This song tells the story of what it's like for those in less than comfortable financial situations, who still need to provide Christmas for their kids. There are many sides to this story, we just trying to give you a glimpse at each.
